Are You Thankful to Christ?

And Jesus, answering, said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God save this stranger. And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole!

Christ’s Comfort for the Discouraged

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, we also go with thee. They went forth and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore; but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered Him, No. And He said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now, when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him (for he was naked) and did cast himself into the sea.

Throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it: and build an altar unto the Lord thy God!

Howbeit, certain men clave unto him and believed.

Who is This Prince of Peace?

And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did and the children crying in the Temple and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! they were sore displeased and said unto Him, Hearest Thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise?

Look to the Cross!

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.
