Walter A. Maier
Season 4 (1936-1937)
With the addition of KFEL in Denver and nine stations in California, The Lutheran Hour expanded to include thirty-one radio stations in this season, nearly matching the original broadcasting power of the first season. This expansion also meant that it was broadcast twice each Sunday, so that hearers across the nation would receive it at optimal times. WAM himself wrote that The Lutheran Hour had proven the value of using the radio for Christ, since the increasing number of letters from all levels of society showed its growing influence in America.
